Mika Hakkinen. Now that’s a hero.

While Loeb has ruined the rallying for me, I have genuinely cheered for him during the Dakar Rally.

Thanks for putting me back into the greys, Stef!

A great example of a humble, likeable champion is Marcel Hirscher in the alpine skiing. That guy has won everything everywhere, and yet, he has remained pretty much down to earth and humble.

I respect Hamilton as a driver, but hate him due to his off-track comments and behaviour. He is insufferable.

Shots fired! Off you go, into the greys, just like me now.

We extend the thumb and the index finger of our right hand and then we place it on our forehead while shouting “LOOOSEEEERRR!”.

Hamilton always bitches and moans when things are not going the way he planned.

As a die hard Hamilton hater, I also agree that this is good.

    The truth is out there!

    - mechanics and engineers were swapped between Rosberg and Hamilton

“Taking him” is the important bit. Aside from the fact that he is unstoppable, he is also a typical French asshole.

    I’ll commentate.

By that you mean Piper Cherokee and flying overhead, right?

With the Toyota coming back, there is a strong hope that WRC might slowly become relevant again, after a decade in the shadows.

The only thing now missing, to make it an absolutely great moment, are the aliens, abducting Ogier.

How much is that in imperial shitloads?

Somehow, it reminded me of the great old Safari rally, back from a time when WRC actually meant something.

    Now playing

Here is my favourite Rally Argentina moment:

I know, I remember that from my childhood, from a time when the rally drivers were my biggest heroes. But, as I said to Bakster, I don’t really want them to do that again, that’s belongs to specialised race reviews. I just want(ed) them to feature more motorsport, and show more details about it and its history.
