The problem is, lately he doesn’t seem to be interested in the comments unless they say things like “great article” or “I was there, man”.

I definitely agree with that; the best example is the article that claimed that S-400 drove NATO aircraft away from the western Syria, when in fact, they have never operated over the western Syria.

The whole “show pending” issue deeply sucks, all because of some precious little flowers on Jezebel who got upset over some stupid shit. If editors see a seriously inappropriate comment (or something they don’t like), the can simply delete it (as Ballaban did here when I have posted a photo of a man in a suit with his

SVP-24 is nothing more than a new navigation system for Russian combat aircraft (some sort of INS + GLONASS). The problem is, Putinbots and the Russian state media have claimed that it significantly increases the accuracy of high level bombing, up to the JDAM levels, which is physically impossible.

There is a thing called Missile Approach Warning System; basically, a Doppler radar or an IR system that detects incoming missiles, whatever guidance they may have, and it has been in service for quite a while.

While I am technically a millennial, I don’t think I fit in any of the usual descriptions assigned to them. But I did see quite a few of my friends become exactly that.

A Jalopnik sub-blog that used to post good and interesting stuff about motorsport. Used to, because I haven’t seen much of that good stuff this winter; when you consider their previous posts and the amount of stories that were relevant over the course of this winter (most notably, the Dakar).

Jalops as a group have a tendency of pissing on everyone who disagrees with their generally accepted beliefs and opinions, and some of their writers behave like real assholes when someone presents them with a valid counterpoint, argument or a criticism. They also often use the lame-ass tactic of greying-out people

I have made, not was. Goddamn!

But why don’t they give us what we all really want, “civilian” CRF450 Rally?

Out of sheer curiosity, what have you done to deserve a greyout? I was greyed-out on Black Flag this summer after politely disagreeing with Patrick George and Stef about their tabloid-like obsession with the Lewis Hamilton’s personal crap. But I’ve managed to sneak back in around December.

I was also made a legitimate question in order to provide a serious answer. That is nothing more than a cockpit sunscreen, seen here fully deployed:

Which part do you think is the tape?

I wouldn’t mind Foxtrot Alpha becoming an independent blog, but it is logical to keep it as part of Jalopnik for marketing reasons. And comparison with Jezebel is way off, since the number of Jalops who like FA far outweighs those who don’t.

Foxtrot Alpha is unavailable for comment at this time, it is to busy fapping on Russia and A-10s.

Nah, they pulled out to soon meaning that their seeds wont stick around for too long.

Why does it bother you so much? There are plenty of shitty articles popping out on Jalopnik, so why do you people keep whining about some good, quality and informative journalism that Foxtrot Alpha is (70% of the time, but ultimately better than 70% of the stuff on Jalopnik)?

That is goddamned hilarious. You won the anti-Russia sentiment for tonight!

    So long, suckers!

That very idea makes no sense at all. Everybody knows that rebels have both IR and radar guided AA (like SA-8), but why would Russia be afraid of something that can’t harm them? That is the very reason for their high altitude bombing - they don’t want some haji scoring a lucky shot on one of their aircraft.
