I know the French contributions as well, I was just pointing out to the Polish ones. And I did mention Bir Hakeim in earlier post.

Thanks, I will look it up.

I want to know out of sheer curiosity; you have a South Afircan modified Mi-24 and you called me “bru”.

    Fuckin ‘ell!!!!

Some people here elevate A-10 to something that it isn’t. There is no substitute for the A-10 in its niche role, but the A-10 isn’t an answer to every close air support question.

I love that stuff. But the fact that you are trying to turn Poland into a perpetrator instead of a victim is just fucking stupid.

Contribution is not measured by the numbers alone, but by the impact of the contribution.

No. 112 Squadron was beyond awesome. A Royal Air Force squadron commanded by an Autralian badass and troublemaker, with the pilots from UK, Australia, Canada, Poland and New Zealand. Also, the sharkmouth.

I didn’t know it was a “bottom shot”. Any tank is vulnerable there, and tanks in general don’t really get along with the hostile infantry at close ranges.

Jesus Batman Christ, what the fuck is the matter with you!? Seriously, what is your fucking agenda here!?

That’s not true. French gave a great contribution to an Allied war effort, just much less than the Poles did. The only really big contributions to the Axis war effort could’ve been the various fights between the Vichy and the Allies, like the Syria-Lebanon campaign; could’ve been, because the Allies kicked their

Not about the French alone. Most of the stuff I know about them came from researching the wider campaigns of which they were only a part of.

No, everyone is busy playing homoerotic volleyball.

French fought very hard as well (Bir Hakeim being the foremost example), but the achievements of the Free French and the Resistance were somewhat overshadowed by the Vichy and the fact that they were completely defeated in less than two months. They are bust summed up by the scuttling of their fleet in Toulon.

It really sucks what happened to them during the war, in every single aspect. The Warsaw uprising sums up their story perfectly.

Awesome, Kurwa! This is on par with the crazy shit that Argentinian pilots do.

Poland actually gave a greater contribution in the WW2 than the French did.

That’s an entirely different story. The reason why I am bitching is that people here look at A-10 as a deity. When attacking a properly equipped armor brigade, A-10 would be dead without a SEAD cover.

Well, lately, Tyler rarely seems to read comments, or at least reply to them; unless if they say things like “great article” or “I was there”. Which is a shame, because I’d like to see his opinion on topics beyond the article. The last time he replied to me was before Christmas.

I don’t think it’s the same event because the second one looks as if it was taken in the middle of nowhere, plus the cars look too communist.
