Comparing different series of racing is like comparing apples to oranges. Here let me do the research real quick.

How important are graduates of the collegiate series Formula SAE to your companies? From both the perspective of providing fresh, innovative ideas as well as the work ethic they do or don't bring.
Not true. 1) He's an old dude who's been driving awhile. He's used to the speed that race cars work at. 2) When you are driving you aren't just in a blur. You're constantly thinking about what's happening. You don't really think about the car control very much, that's all subconscious reactions. Trust me, when he…
Ding ding ding! It's all about gearing! If you had a Clydesdale and a race horse, they are both technically 1 horsepower, but obviously a Clydesdale can do work the race horse can't and vice versa. Now imagine that both horses had to pull 100 pounds of coal up a shaft 100 feet deep. Now the Clydesdale will be able to…
I highly doubt he is better than 99.9% of other people. There's an old saying among racers that goes, "The best race car driver ever in the history of man is probably running barefoot through a jungle right now." Also, "Race car drivers are a dime a dozen." Sure the guys like Senna, Prost, Schumacher, Loeb, Vettel,…
I'd be stressed too.
It's a regulation. All LMP1s are required to have it to help prevent the cars from flipping and taking flight when they spin at high speeds. It certainly is an ugly regulation.
Everyone should calm down. Here's why it's a good thing that the FR-S will only come with 200hp.
Where can I find a larger version?! haha
Not to mention, not all new combines even have that technology. Combines are super easy to keep in a straight line especially under slow speeds like that. The hydraulics that are used for steering are pretty powerful so it keeps the wheels in their told position.
@cheeezwhiz: BTW we do have decreasing radius corners in the midwest...THE MORE YOU KNOW!
From an engineering perspective I are sad...
I don't think I could do that or would want that to happen. I feel that a car is something that can and should be shared by others when you are done. If I died, I would want someone, probably someone close to me, to enjoy it the way I did. But that's just my $.02
@mystereeeee: Gymkhana is actually a monster awakened from the dead. It was truly first done on horse, then started after WWII by GIs. After Japan came back into stride they started doing it as well.
@Prismatist steers with his right foot: So that they could be destroyed by an F-22? FURGET A'BOUT IT!!!
@spiegel1- Dr. Grover, Gynecologist: Is that the mythical Porsche F1 off in the distance at the GP track? Oh my god, the beauty...I....I....can't believe it.
@They call me MISTER Scroggs!: They should make a commercial like the GM commercials about professional grade trucks. Only the commercial starts out with Colin McRae at the Bunnings Jumps in Austrailia, then cuts to a Lancia Stratos cutting through the woods of Finland. Then onto a Celica pushing through the mud of…
@HammerheadFistpunch: I agree. I'm tired of watching action sports stars simply walk into rallying because of their sponsors. I want some guys who grew up auto-racing, even if it isn't me (haha). Those guys already had there limelight in their sports let some others have theirs. (Yes yes I know they are making it…
My question is this...How long can the underbody take that punishment? hahaha Or does he have Ti skids or something like that?
@SpikeJnZ - Porkchop Express: Hell yeah Kansas emission laws! hahaha Or lack there of.
