Member berries are a device being used by the creators to show us that most people wish to go back to a time where things were easy—yet the problems society is facing are still the same. They're being used to draw a parallel between Trump/Garrison supporters, and everyone else on their high horse.

The purpose of member berries is to show a parallel between Trump/Garrison supporters and their "polar opposites," millenials.

I just wanted to note two things for this episode.

Completely valid beliefs founded on real stats, nothing to be angry about on my part :)

Hey, no problems over here.

While I think the way we're dealing with sexual exploration/lifestyles/etc on campus is not perfect, it is needed in order to protect victims of sexual assault and abuse. Doing something is better than nothing.

If I remember correctly, she cited online 'shaming' as the primary reason for her depression and in turn led to her self-harm behavior. I believe she has been dealing with it since she was young and was made worse by public comments.

"This season is taking a hard look at the mentality of people when they are trying to be as good as society tells them."

I've been reading a lot of the comments on Reddit, AV Club and elsewhere, where the commenters disagree with the 'social media' portion of the show—and while there are some good talking points where proponents and opponents can find common ground, I think many in both sides of the debate have missed the point of the
