I still like the Walmart Pay optical scanner. They use QR codes, which I realize are not unhackable, instead of NFC chip scanners. My phone requires a thumbprint for Walmart Pay, so it ‘seems’ to be pretty safe.

I don’t remember many of the digits to pi, but I remember an approximation that’s much better than 22/7. Start with the first 3 odd numbers (1,3,5). Write 113355, split the number in the middle (113 355) and divide the second by the first. 355/113 = 3.141592(92), or pi to 6 decimal places.

For one thing, don’t microwave anything in that plastic container illustrated in the opening picture.  If the contents are oily, the container will melt before the food is heated through.

I’ve been using Walmart Pay tied to my 3% back credit card since, well, about the time Walmart Pay came out. In addition to the 3% I saved about $100 on a problem with a tire this summer, because I had the warranty receipt on my phone. Who keeps Walmart receipts? I guess I do with Walmart Pay.
