Back in the 90s our office was an opulent federal building from the 1940s. They had recently had a new roof put on, but it had not rained since the new roof. One weekend it poured and all the water poured into my boss’ office. He arrived at 6:30 on Monday and found the floor flooded and the walls soaking up the

Here’s my basic issue with AI art...

Of course I had to check truepeoplesearch on myself to check accuracy.  It’s 10 years out of date for me.  All the info is there to be current, but they have it so mixed up as to appear 10 years old.

Familytreenow dot com is my go-to to find anyone assuming I know their name. They seem to use utility bills as an information source.

Leftover cornbread. That’s a good one.  That doesn’t happen in my house.

Already Lifehacker seems less interesting.

U shape. Basically its a rectangle with the front door set in. My current house has 12 corners because the garage protrudes in front and the front door inset is a double inset.

I used to live 3 miles from where I am currently in San Antonio. I had always had a rooftop antenna when I was a kid in California, so I figured I needed one at that house, too. Spent about $150 for a good one, installed it myself, and it worked perfectly. Then we rearranged the furniture and I had to disconnect the

The key to keeping the construction cost down is to keep the design simple. The fewer corners there are on the building, the cheaper it is to build. Four corners is the normal minimum. Three corners would be more expensive due to the engineering of the angles. Also the closer you get to a flat roof the less expensive

Many months after having our house painted I noticed some tiny spots on the glass in the doors. Rubbing alcohol on a paper towel took all the spots off easily.

I have both ABP and Ublock Origin running.  I got the warning a couple times, but updated Win 10 and Firefox, and it seems to be cleared up now.

This article is hilarious. It compares frigid Denmark and Canada to the much warmer US. Look at the banner picture showing everyone wearing warm coats. Even if our roads were perfectly safe, drivers and bicyclists were perfectly educated; people in the US do not want to bike to work in 90 degree weather and return

Yeah, oops!  It was $3.079 waaaaay back then.  Now it’s $2.939.

In order to compare apples to apples you need to subtract the state, federal, and local fuel taxes from the price. If you don’t like the taxes where you live, you can move.

It can be done. Arizona State University’s Mountain America Stadium is surrounded by solar covered parking lots. Also the Tucson School District has solar covered parking lots at every school.

This genre is right up my alley. I need to watch a lot of these.

I’m sure the universities think they have a handle on this concept of aeration. There is big money in the lawn care industry for providing the services. The scare words they use are soil compaction. Someone might take you out to your lawn and stomp down on it proclaiming how compacted the soil is. Very likely it is

Saw this yesterday.

Where is the ° key on the phone?

Here’s a picture of my use of a melamine sponge to clean tile. The tile was grimy to begin with, but we just had had a small house fire which left soot on top of the grime. The bonus was the grout cleaned up perfectly. You can’t see that while it’s wet, but it was perfect.
