I cannot with your reasoning, I am sorry. Domestic abuse? Again, I believe you are reaching and trying to turn Maura into a victim and Shelley into a predator and that is so not fair.
We have to agree to disagree, take care.

Your argument makes no sense, and you are reaching. What emotional abuse did Shelley heap on Maura? She very rightly called her out for leaving her for a second time. Maura very much so had a choice, and that is why I am uncomfortable with the Shelley assaulting Maura narrative.

Totally disagree, Maura does what Maura wants to do. If she didn't want to engage with Shelley in the tub, she surely didn't have to. She has left many situations. She needed a place to stay and Shelley is familiar. But then once again, Maura came to feel that she and Shelley were incompatible in a relationship.

Sigh, I hate to be that person, and I haven't read the comments carefully. But the only reason the confederate flag was a "thing" in 2015 was because 9 people were massacred in a church by a Jerry Springer style racist, and that shamed that piece of crap Govenor there into doing something looking like atonement.
So I

The reviewer described it perfectly; cult classic. For me, it was all about Swayze. I loved him as Bodhi, and the President mask wearing bank robberies was just icing on the cake.
This just looks bad.

Really nice article; this movie is pure love for me. There is nothing about this movie I want to trash, even stereotypical Annie the maid.
Jimmy Stewart is so good in this movie. When he prays for redemption on the bridge, asking God to let him live again. Aw man, I am done.

I actually don't hate Josh as much as everyone else. He is a mess because his parents sucked and he was molested.
I actually cannot stand Aly the most. She is reckless. And she really looks dirty; like she smells badly.

You have got to be kidding me. I personally thought the entire cast was great, but Woodbine made me root for sociopath.

I thought the same that they only got married so she wouldn't have to testify against him.
Noah has been ambivalent about telling Alison about his divorce so he certainly doesn't seem in a rush to marry.

We are not seeing different shows but clearly differentiate takes on these characters. Helen's father didn't run roughshod over Noah. He happily accepted the man's money for years.
Just like he accepted Max's money and just like he accepted Alison's money.
Also in season 1, Helen clearly corrected her mother when she

I never questioned her being dead. Especially when her grandmother asked for her and Bear just mumbled.

I don't know how they could possibly make it work; but I hope we see Mike's character again.

No I think for all of his posturing Max really does love Helen.
He wasn't planning on dropping that particular truth bomb on Noah, it just came out.
And Noah of course was an ass. His wife! The one he tossed to the curb with four awful kids so he could run off with a loony toon.

Everybody including me, had all the feelings when President Obama was elected, it's gonna be rough as Hades when he leaves. It's going to be all the stages man…all the stages.

Exactly! Trump has been the worst since forever. He never got a pass from me.

I didn't love this episode, at all.
And I am sorry but I just miss Charlie.
I am not the biggest Pops fan either, even in the seventies, you got more than one gift.

My word, what an excellent hour of television. I immediately watched it again. The entire cast has been amazing.
I never would have guessed that Ted Danson had THIS in him.
I did not imagine the entire Gerhardt clan would go like that! Floyd's death was heartbreaking. Hey kids, crime never pays.
I was worried about the

It was fantastic, my only gripe being too many commercials.
But every moment was delightful.
