Root that baby. I bet there are Jelly Bean ROMS for it. :-)

If there's a case on it, it goes right over the camera/flash - rendering them unusable. I do agree that it looks like it has a case on it, but weird that there's no cut-out for the camera.
I'll be impressed if it can take a picture worth a damn and has great battery life. The current Nexus would be perfect if the camera software matched the phone's hardware. It's so funny because the viewfinder looks better than the resulting image!
Yea, only Motorola has spent money - not really Google - and Motorola has spent a drop in the bucket compared to other manufacturers such as Samsung.
The newer phones such as the One X and GSIII are truly large, especially taking into account that, while their screens are technically only a tiny bit bigger than the Nexus' screen, the also have off-screen menu buttons on top of that and are quite a bit wider. The Nexus is really a 4.3" screen with buttons on it,…
Now you can view the first few lines of an email from the notification window in Jelly Bean. It's pretty awesome.
Every time I see the iPhone 5's hardware, I get a little jealous - my Galaxy Nexus's plastic isn't as pretty. But then I see my friends putting their 'beautiful' new toy in a case because it scratches so easily on the back - and remember that my Nexus has been uncased for a year and has zero scratches.
Google itself can't be sued for Android, because it releases the code for free. Samsung (and others like HTC) are on the receiving end of Apple lawsuits because they profit from what Apple considers 'their' innovation. But you're right. All of the recent Apple Samsung lawsuit centered around Samsung's Touchwhiz…
You mean Earth?
Beautiful phone, without a doubt. Unfortunate that Apple's devices tend to scratch when you look at them, so in a case they go - losing all their chic beauty in the process.
And Austin is at about 300'
Yea, why Adrian said that we all thought this stuff was fading away right as the biggest patent suit in IT history just happened is a bit odd. Apple may have somehow patented a rectangle and moving one's finger and the word minimalist, but other companies have patents on actual technology.
...there's a phone OS that has really good G+ integration with it. Just sayin'
Billions seems like a lot, until you have technology and time. Over the course of millions of years, billions isn't a lot - especially if you can identify potential life-sustainable planets from afar.
This would certainly make us think about whether alien life exists, as they'd have been able to come visit all this time!
Agreed. The platforms are maturing. It'll mostly be added features from here on out that get the attention, like Siri.
Dear Android:
Really? Because Android makes drastic improvements in its OS with every release. The current iteration, Jelly Bean, is on par with iOS's smoothness and is arguably better looking because it's newer and lacks that oh-so-Apple desire to make everything look like leather, metal or yellow memo paper that no one uses…
How is this even an issue? Sooooo ridiculous. It's video chat. You can download any app you want to do this, so why is Facetime such a big deal?
Your first paragraph is kind of implying that I said someone would have come out with an exact copy of the iPhone at the exact same time. That's not what I said. I simply said that if Google/Apple hadn't done it, someone else eventually would. Like fire, or cars, or airplanes - these things would likely come to…
