Samsung doesn't use Sense (that's HTC), they have TouchWiz.

Well, updates are a lot more than just carrier demands, skins and the like. When a Nexus device comes out, the code is usually streamlined for one type of processor, one GPU, one screen size... so on and so forth. Any manufacturer that gets the code once it's released has to modify - test - approve and then release

Yea, makes sense that, if they're releasing a tablet with 4.1 first and it's the flagship device, the Galaxy Nexus would get 4.1 rather than a 'flagship' phone.

The leading image of an article about Windows Phone 8 is mistakenly Android with a Windows Phone 7 Launcher, and this is unrelated to the article? Um....

Bwahahaha, this is that same picture of a Galaxy Nexus running a Windows Phone Launcher.

LOLz, I just noticed that. It's a Galaxy Nexus running a Launcher that emulates Windows Phone. Which is, ironically, the only way to get that cool Metro UI AND apps. ;-)

Why would the Nexus tablet have a slot for your ear during a phone call, as this image does?

Kind of agree. Houston was, um, a tad important to those shuttle missions.

I believe that the first city mentioned in Twister was Lubbock. Go home town!

I don't think she was technically being flipped. I think she was the one doing the flipping. :-)

iOS users rejoice! Google Maps will be liberated from being baked into iOS and will hopefully be available on iTunes! That means you don't have to have that second-rate app anymore and it will be updated as often as the drop-dead gorgeous Android version!

Amen. The Android and iOS apps really need some work. Mobile apps are supposed to be quick and light, but the Facebook one is anything but those qualities.

What I like best is that the headphone jack seems to be on the bottom of the device. Love having all possible cord combinations come out of the same side of my phone, preferably the bottom.

Well, the current one on the Market does, but this beta does not. BUT, if you put local files on your computer into a playlist and have your phone on the same wifi, it will push them to your phone so you can play them.

They do. Download the Spotify Preview app they have on their site. It's about 1000000000x more stable than the actual version in the Market, it's GORGEOUS, and it has gapless playback and crossfade both!

I liked the way WebOS looked, but got a little bored with it after a while because of its lack of ability to be customized. I like that the people responsible for such a nice looking OS are going to be combined with the raw power or Android.

Well, I certainly will take Android with a full DSP (equalizer) than an iOS device with only minimal EQ functionality on their music app.

Yea, my Galaxy Nexus screen is huge. But I would prefer a little issue with one-handed use (which I really don't have) over an absolutely tiny screen from what I see.

What I'm really curious about is if the current resolution of the iPhone will be maintained. If so, will that make the new screen not Retina? If they change the resolution, then you have iPhone, iPhone 4, iPad, iPad AND iPhone 5 resolutions to deal with.

Exactly. Basically a tiny fraction of total handset hardware occupy 50% of the market share. That sounds pretty damn good, actually.
