Well, it finally happened. Someone spoke nicely about Android apps. It took comparing them to WP apps to do it, but someone did it!

Agreed. On Android, you can't even see your friend's playlists or edit the order of song within a playlist. What's more, the app barely plays, if at all. It tends to randomly stop playing quite a bit, and any fast forwarding or rewinding within a song tends to be the player's undoing.
I'm pretty sure Spotify is raking in the bucks.
iPad apps are great and all (I even have an iPad), but what they really need to do is retool their mobiles apps for Android and iPhone. As a paid service, those apps should be tons better.
I live in Austin. Yay NI!
THIS IS NOT PATENT-ABLE. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST.
The great thing about a triathlon or any group run/event like that is all the people around you really motivate you to do your best and keep you from focusing on the difficulty of what you're doing.
Loaded fine on my GSM Galaxy Nexus. Advanced Camera works great. In addition to tap-to-focus, the tap feature also seems to adjust the exposure compensation to where you just tapped, which will be amazing to use. That way if the subject of your shot is blown out or underexposed, you tap and it adjusts for that part…
Maybe the cloth you speak of is fabulous and irresistible.
It's sneaky when the underdog becomes the herd leader, huh? Even the people that value the underdog title don't even see it.
Did Google's strategy of giving away Android for free have anything to do with this? And Google doesn't really 'make' Android, they're a partner in the Open Handset Alliance, which releases the AOSP code for Android. Maybe Google knew they'd get the pants sued off of them if they did this themselves, so they did it…
Android model: make a different phone with different technology and frequency capabilities for each market that requires it. Get in trouble for having too make devices.
This is accurate of all the batteries we use for tablets and phones. Fully charging a battery and then trickle-charging it can be dangerous, so instead they fully charge, then discharge 10% roughly before filling back up.
I bet they dismantled the Art Department to pay for this bullshit.
Studies show that, while you're talking to someone that's actually in the car, it's much safer. The reason is that the passenger is seeing what you are seeing while driving and tends to be quiet when needed and even provide an extra set of eyes.
You're mostly correct, so I just vote against bigoted and oppressive people.
Amen. You can't run around putting big oil down while driving a car (or anything, really) and using plastics and basically living a first-world life. You're being hypocritical.
Humanity, by its nature, is reactionary. Even if we don't run out of oil for a hundred years, we still are going to run out (it's a finite resource and everyone knows that). Conservation should have been on everyone's minds years ago, yet some people still think they need a giant Tahoe or Suburban to drive…
Well, they can survive massive falls about 9 times.
What a wonderfully written article.
