I love this entire genre — austen, downton, north and south, etc — and I was really looking forward to this! Something to fill the Downton-shaped hole in my life, and it had such good reviews.

Wow. Couldn't disagree more. Found this episode to be grating and low on laughs. It turned really likeable characters into one note caricatures. Wish Wayans wasn't here to stay—I think he's dragging the whole show down. The best thing that happened to the New Girl was his leaving after the first episode of season one,…
