I love when hate-mongering fascists are treated like cute puppies.

Directorial styles aside, movies like Black Panther and Captain Marvel are important steps forward in the diversity department, so picking female and black directors is just keeping up with the ideal.

That being women can be as equally competent as men for directing movies and deserve as many opportunities for it.
