The only one that I could not really tell was CG was the first image of the girl with black hair. Really amazing. Everything else I’ve seen similar quality elsewhere.
Which is why Kotaku’s coverage is so fucking tired on this issue. The accusation that this is Valve’s fault, that it started on Steam and not twitter/reddit/etc., is just garbage.
You goddamn monster.
I think I’m a few years younger than you since I was about 6 when the 80s ended. I did spend a lot of time in arcades growing up and I guess early 90s arcades weren’t much different than ones in the 80s (other than the obvious different games). The ones I went to didn’t have that kinda stigma and I always felt safe…
They gonna be remastered with live-action sprites like Mortal Kombat to match the remakes? :P
I can’t wait to get lost and frustrated at the monkeys in the “I just can’t wait to be king” segment of The Lion King..
And yet, here we are, having read an article about him
I created an account just to star your comment and to tell you that THIS is exactly how I’ve felt for, like, the last three years on this site. Jesus Christ, EVERYTHING is offensive to these people. I’m just trying to get some video-game news, folks--not read an essay on how it somehow minimizes the plight of…
But SJWs are fucking insane, and usually self centered assholes too.
I remember when my $60 got me a manual, a cloth map, and a collectible of some kind. Now I get license to use the game and don’t technically own it.
I disagree on the piracy bit at the end. It’s been long proven that people prefer to purchase a legitimate copy of a game, so long as it’s within their price budget, so a person buying a use game could easily be the same person who would pirate a game, simply because they want to play it but don’t have the financial…
If you don’t see the drastic difference in pricing between Digital and Physical copies of the same games, then you’re shopping on the wrong websites...
Even if Steam.com itself doesn’t have a game you’re looking for on sale, there’s other avenues like Indiegala, Fanatical, CDKeys, HumbleBundle, Green Man Gaming...…
This is easily solved if we scrap digital games, and just go back to physical games.
But for real though, I love digital games, it’s definitely allowed me to purchase an immense backlog of games that I would have otherwise NEVER bought were they all physical, if not simply out of being unable to afford them at physical…
I’m not defending G2A, I actually know nothing about them and have never used them (I’ve got more money than time regarding games I’d like to play nowadays anyway...)
And that’s just on the developer’s side, imagine all that has been done with numerical user-end face generation. I recently started to play Red Dead Online in anticipation of the summer update and got my character to look like Bruce Campbell.
That’s the point though - the bad guys may not be able to stop you, but the longer it takes you to stop them, the more damage they can do against people and property and therefore the worse hero you are. And by creating “hero points” and tying your abilities to that score, this game has given you a reason to want to…
Wow. Did you, like blackout or something.
