I really wish that they would revisit and remake FF VIII for modern hardware, it is by far my favorite of the series. Sadly though, I feel like if they haven't done it yet, they probably never will. Hell, they're still refusing to do an HD remaster of VII and there has been a ton of demand for that, all over the web…

Have you seen the FMVs from VIII recently? Our games have surpassed that level of quality. I'm sure we could do it.

That entire no-jump run was ludicrous. I had enough trouble getting the stars in that stage playing by "regular" rules; I can't believe the precision/patience he had to do that stuff.
