Korean too. Good stuff.
Korean too. Good stuff.
“That said, the phrasing “Pile of Poo” in the level’s title is certainly suggestive of something other than a fan-favorite EarthBound character, which might have triggered Nintendo’s famously opaque moderation regardless of what Hunt has been told in the past.”
Yeah, and even if it isn’t, as a creator, don’t you avoid going there just to eliminate the possibility?
The hilarious part is that the racism, fascism, lying, incompetence, grift, craven political misconduct, abuse of power, everything is right out in the open. And I’m not name calling or casting aspersions, I’m simply stating demonstrable fact. Just had a great example with the census stuff that’s documented in court…
I’d disagree. My first thought was ingestion of alcohol because someone else is drinking. Splash? Peer pressured drinking? Term immediately seemed confusing and ridiculous to me, and not associated with just general harm from others.
Yeah, great. I don’t think anyone disagrees with that sentiment. Who said anything about pardons? How is your moral self righteousness, justified as it is, going to win you any elections?
I agree with you, but my narrative is actually that those people still exist who have no excuse for voting for that maniac and you have to do something constructive about that.
My opinion on that is just based on empiricism. We had an election. She lost (in terms of EC votes, which was the whole game) to a ridiculously unfavorable opponent. That happened. She was a bad candidate.
I’d previously seen numbers in the 90s estimated, but okay. What about the rest of the point I made on that? What percentage were D voters traditionally?
Leaving the political professionals, whose job it is to lead, shape spin, get there message across to the electorate off the hook just invites futher failure.
Just to be clear, I’m not suggesting letting the basket of deplorables or their enablers off. But there is more than enough blame to go around and accepting responsibility as a professional for your work is part of professionalism.
Seems like it could also be a way for businesses to express anti-labor political positions. “You want us to treat our workers well? That costs money! If we line item it on your bill, maybe you’ll understand the plight of the owners. Maybe you’ll be against better benefits if I make you pay for them explicitly and you…
Yeah... I’m no Bernie Bro, and did vote for Clinton, but I’d ask you to consider some things with that line of reasoning. 1) PUMAs, for perspective. 2) The fact that almost all Sanders supporters did in fact support Clinton, and that the fractional divisions correlate to Sanders supporters that were traditional Ds and…
“...pleaded not guilty...” ; “...I claim full responsibility.”
Out of curiosity, do you think your question is an intelligent, insightful, or meaningful one?
Yep. We’ve taught people that racism is bad. That’s a step. However, most people don’t think in a logical bottom-up fashion. They tend to think top-down. They know in their hearts that they are personally “good”. They think certain things, which substantively might be racist. But since they are “good”, they know, what…
You seem to be in touch with a very thin, selective, and non-representative slice of “conservatism”. Among Rs: 92% voted for the guy; 90% currently approve.
