Actually, a lot of them simply don’t care as long FOX wages the culture war against those they feel should be punished. They are totally willing to harm themselves if they think it also harms their fellow Americans that they are feuding with.

Also see, A.J. Delgado.
Compound interest is powerful. Piketty, r > g, etc.
A belief in economic and social justice is not a vow of poverty. People who want to justify and maintain the status quo willfully are unable to acknowledge that, and present the opposite as an implied assumption.
But what would the quip have been?
When you craft policy explicitly under the concept that suffering needs to be increased as a form of deterrent to disincentivize a behavior, yeah, any increase in deaths resulting from that is totally intentional and deplorable.
Yeah, I looked at your other posts before responding, and didn’t see a stream of sarcasm... but, yeah.
First off: Oh my god, why? If you’ve got ESPN, you’ve almost definitely got the NHL Network.
Because we’re dealing with a culture war instead of competing ideas for competent governance. Duh...
A thousand times: Barry
“The Eakin hit on Pavs was at minimum a 4, not a 2. 5 was surprising but painful as it is, it is how the rules are written that it is the purview of the refs.”
Not sure what you’re talking about. She got 2.87M more votes, but most definitely lost. She won nothing. Part of the lesson Dems seem not to have learned is that the popular vote count does not decide the election. The spend a lot of time focusing on decided votes instead of motivating the increased turnout they need.
People need to realize that this isn’t about substance, like the fact the guy was bad at business. It’s a culture war. Those people you’re talking about don’t even properly care about their own interests. They just want to see the “other” punished.
“...who hope to “educate the public and challenge cultural squeamishness about bacteria.””
It’s not even fucking close, for Christ’s sake.
Yeah, but you have to be careful not to fall into the trap of false equivalence. These douches exist across the political spectrum, but they pass as intellectuals, expert authorities, and movement leaders in conservatism. Paul Ryan was never an economics wonk, he just played one on tv.
If you’re smart enough to publish your stupidity, you can take responsibility for it.
No. No one ever claimed that. Intentionally misunderstanding a concept does not invalidate it.
“...but attacking an apolitical and popular family member is not going to sit well with the general public.”
I remember thinking that the most implausible part of Snowpiercer was that we actually did something about climate change.
