Thing is, a yr ago, hell 6 months ago, this looked even worse for Android. The first 1-2yrs saw a ridiculous number of releases. They're slowed down a lot since then, and I'm sure you'll see less and less fragmentation as a result.

I feel bad for anybody who, because of their field and a dependence on OSX, has to waste money on this thing. Talking about price markups many times over...the parts for this thing maybe cost $700-$800 if bought from somewhere like newegg
would have made more sense to just make 1080p screens
you must not have ever used it for more than 10 minutes on your lap then...
exactly, that resolution seems like such a waste on a laptop. Retina displays are nice and all, but for a device that would sit at least an arm's length from my eyes, I don't see any compelling need. High resolution gives you plenty of space on the screen to work with but when all applications simply double their…
This is what I was thinking...200' sounds stupendously higher than the previous estimates I've seen
that was my first thought - isn't it taxed already somewhere else?
So this is how they're going to get the money to rescue countries like Greece and Italy....
I've watched the entire season on HBO Go and I have to agree. It started out fine, but especially the last few weeks episodes have crashed and then returned at a much lower resolution. My guess is not enough bandwidth on their part (since my internet speed doesn't change when these things happen).
kinda the impression I got, especially when I read the "College Admissions" and "Exercise" ones...sounds like some one is just in a pissy mood.
Fair enough. I'm someone who hates gyms so working out at home has always been a better option for me. Tony Horton's stuff (originally P90, then P90X) have been my favorite stuff, but I mix in other things. But to each their own. If the research on health and weight has taught us anything it's that people need to find…
+1, really the one thing about Mac OS I've liked
I live in Chicago, so I understand what you mean in terms of winter getting in the way of outdoor cardio (I too am super excited that the warm weather has returned), but again there are a ton of in-home workout routines that are great cardio workouts (check out, for example, several of the different BeachBody…
You don't need a gym to work out...
I am completely, and utterly fine with the concept that people should not be made to feel like shit because of how they look. And I completely agree that Hollywood / magazines / TV / etc. promotes an unrealistic body image.
Uh, what planet are you living on where Chrome is considered trash-ware? It's generally the most stable, fast, and secure browser out there...
who gave you a star...
I don't really get it either...OK, yeah he writes kinda pop-y annoying songs sometimes, but he is definitely one of the best guitarists ever. Go and listen to some of his blues stuff, he's up there with hendrix and clapton and all the other greats
Really, you're going to bring that up? Yeah it was a mistake for which they apologized. There are a number of more relevant examples where Google comes out ahead of FB in terms of privacy issues, and especially transparency on privacy policy. FB's moto is "make our privacy policies as confusing as possible so the…
What was the point of doing this?
