The number of people missing the joke here is hilarious.
So in the field of candidates, who would you vote for? In the current pool of Dems the only one with a chance of upsetting another Clinton in office (which, agreed, barf) is Bernie. I don’t see anyone else rising to challenge her this election cycle.
And so your solution is to do what, vote for someone who has an even worse record and will receive the same type of obstruction?
This makes me want to resub just to go run around the world.
That could be interpreted as “I, Jon Snow”, not necessarily “I, Kit Harrington” ;)
So much nostalgia it hurts
Did you actually watch the game? Besides the first 10 minutes or so of the first half (and arguably the second half) Germany got outplayed pretty much the entire game. They were lucky to not be down by 2 at half. Better team won (and honestly Germany should have been out last round). But sure, everyone loves a good…
Even if she was closer to her line I doubt she’s saving that. Regardless whether that really was an “errant cross,” as a shot that’s pretty damn good. Not sure many keepers would stop this one.
not barefoot, but for all BB squats and deadlifts I take off my shoes and do them in my socks. I don’t own lifting shoes, though, and the soles of my normal gym shoes really aren’t appropriate for those lifts
I’ve been following IF for about 2 years now, and it’s certainly helped with feeling hungry. I was always one of those people who would eat a decent breakfast (eggs, fruit, etc), and would be hungry before even getting to work. I’ve found with IF I can go until 1 or 2 (my normal lunch time) without eating and not…
I've always found that I can run farther (time, not distance) on trails than pavement. The constant pounding on concrete / asphalt has given my IT bands a real problem over the years that I don't experience when predominantly doing trail running.
Any suggestions where to go to do some trail running within a reasonable distance (i.e. under an hour drive) of Chicago? I moved out here from CT a few years ago and one of the things I've really missed is trail running. The lakefront is obviously nice, as you said, but's it's not quite the same.
Just looking at this here makes me feel ill, I can't imagine seeing it in person.
Why is this at all surprising or newsworthy? The point of the show is to lose the largest % of weight to win a big ass prize. If someone promised me $250,000 for losing the most weight you better believe I'd do everything I could to make sure I won. Things that I probably would discontinue doing immediately after I…
this seems to be the point that so many people refuse to accept (especialy individuals on this blog)...for the "average" person it's a decent approximation
In that case, I'm in 100% agreement with you. It would be wonderful if there was some type of system in place. When you consider how many strays are put to sleep, though, it's obvious that moral standards don't quite see animals as equivalent to people. Which, as a scientist (I'm a biology PhD student), I can sort of…
Define treatable. One of my cats, for example, swallowed something and needed about $3k in surgery. She was totally fine afterwards, so in that sense it certainly was a treatable condition. But being on a very low income, that $3k was a very hard pill to swallow. If an individual couldn't afford the treatment, what is…
And yet the trend still continues in the direction of more and more people being overweight / obese. Ignoring reality isn't going to help anyone either.
I never said it wasn't useful. It's a number, a number that correlates with a number of other aspects of health. I said it is over-emphasized, which I don't think anyone would argue with. I would hope that one's doctor would take a variety of measures of one's "health" into consideration in order to create an image of…
