Its an industry run by Irish Americans that has a lot of Irish immigrant workers. He's trying to do his best to support Irish workers. DeBlasio has been particulary unfair to the owners in his speeches on the subject to the point of slander. Another reason he's being so vocal is because the end date for the carriages

Sorry for super long delay in reply. this guy is awesome and as a military engineer would be in charge of making changes to any fortifications and bridges in the area due to the wars, which would be a longer process which would allow him more time on the show.( i assume military engineers would be in charge of that

How amazing would it be if the entire movie was just a shot for shot remake of My Dinner with Andre where Lohan is Andre, Dinner is Dinner and drinks and then the club starting atChateau Marmont, and Wallace Shawn is in character as Vizzini.

Now playing

I don't understand how the first comment wasn't "That Girl's got SPUNK"

I was wondering when Sherman Alexie would get a film adaptation of his stories.

I refuse to tip bathroom people on principle. I don't want to use them and will go out of my way to avoid them. I find it so creepy to have some random person trying to squirt soap on my hands, especially after I made it clear I want to be left along. This should not be a job outside of country clubs (where you

I could swear I remembered reading that the nieghbors of her condo sued her for the noise and construction issues and basically forced her to buy their homes at above market value in order to make it all go away, leaving her with even more properties she couldn't live in.

I think alot of it has to do with the fact Lebowitz no longer owns any of her work. Due to the ridiculous crap that happened with Sontag dying and her condo renovation she's basically an indentured servant to some company who holds the rights to all her work until she pays off her debt.

but name tattoos are what gave us the immaculate "Wino Forever" Johnny Depp tattoo. After being in so many terrible movies its the only thing I have to hold on to to the days when he wasn't super annoying.

Team up with the insurance company and sue the state to take fiscal responsibility for the medical bills since it is refusing to allow the patient (through her expressed wishes, and families wishes and legal reps) to take her off the support. Pretty sure Texas will shut the whole thing down without a complaint from

They did in January.

That is true- though it appears she is still on the show and the character may have more storyline in the final season.

Ya- it'd be more interesting if they had the black jazz singer, feeling affections for a white woman who reciprocated, STAYED AROUND AND FORCED SOCIETY TO DEAL instead of just going back to London and saying "too bad it's not a nicer time" That would be, in my opinion, more interesting and have a greater impact on

We talked about it somewhere down in the lower part. a male character whose on for like 4 epsiodes. the article above is literally called "Where my black girls at" pointing out the lack of a long term female black character.

I'm saying there was a character, who was a black female, who is a permanent part of the cast, and has a role that goes past a single plot arch

I'm pretty sure they did have an Indian diplomat come. Isn't they guy who was sexed to death Indian?

I think there might be the period piece you're looking for below? I couldn't watch the video so i'm not sure but a trailer was pointed as an example by BlackIvyG I think.

I pointed out that a black guest character was based off a black man character who had a much more interesting impact and would make for a more interesting character.

No i'm not. I'm asserting that in a tv show about a waspy white family and their servants in a society ripe with segregation by class and race, it would be hard to integrate a long-term, black character into the show without making her a servant.

I said there was an ability to integrate, but they would most likely make it downstairs, since this is an upstairs/downstairs show about one family and their household. Which would in turn create another article about how black women can only get servant roles in major things (a la that movie Octavia Spencer won
