You honestly think that anyone has been unable to obtain a gay wedding cake?In the case that started all this, the Christian baker gave the gay couple a list with numerous other local bakers that could help them.

I’m old enough to remember when liberals were happy to exempt sincere religious beliefs from the impact of certain laws (See RFRA). But that apparently only applied to American Indians doing peyote. The hick Christians can go pound sand apparently.

Yup. The annoying thing is that they have about 12 other blogs where all this shit would actually be “on topic.” But they can’t leave Gizmodo for the gadgets and tech many of us came (come) here for.

Shorter version: With the return of a (R) President, the “popular” culture created by mostly liberals will focus on all the bad things (misery index, homelessness, etc.).

Stop with the reasonable analysis of the matter. Don’t you understand? It’s all about branding religious people as BIGOTS.

Interesting concept of “civil rights”. It seems that a better approach would permit those seeking abortions to obtain them from those willing to provide them, while not forceably enlisting unwilling participants.

Their religious beliefs be damned. Literally. :)

So it’s not enough to permit abortions to be voluntarily performed. The government must force those opposed to it to provide a service that clearly violates their sincere and long standing religious beliefs. Can you at least understand why that position is viewed by religious folks as an attack on their beliefs?

You are apparently not familiar with the facts of the Hobby Lobby case. The point was that the company objected to the “health care laws” that the Feds claimed required them to provide insurance coverage for birth control.

Yes, the nuns of the Little Sisters of the Poor not only should be required to provide abortions for all their employees they should also be forced to hire satanist.

Diversity is strength!

Oh NO! Amazon is now worth only slightly less than 5 times what it was 5 years ago. What shall we do?

Just remember that even theoretical voter suppression is REALLY BAD and must be avoided. Even at the certain cost that ineligible people (non-citizens, felons, dead people, etc.) will cast ballots.

Not “Acceptable” shouldn’t mean it gets deleted by politically biased Facebook employees. At least not if Facebook wants to be anything more than a liberal echo chamber.

Two Words: Peak Oil.

I rate your opinion that it’s an opinion as False. :)

I think it would be more accurate to tag such articles as: Opinion, self-righteously masquerading as unbiased “facts”.

I’ve been called a “Denier” on this very site for talking about possible benefits from warming. “Denier” is not a reasoned argument, it is a way to shut up anyone who doesn’t wholeheartedly accept that GW means Armageddon.

We simply don’t know is correct. My point is that saying “Bad thing caused by GW” is lauded as “Science” while saying “GW causes Good Thing” makes you a Nazi (denier).
