I think you are on to something. Essential means the job is essential, not the worker doing the job. I think a lot of people are learning that being deemed essential doesn’t mean job security, especially in a market where there are alot of laid off people desperate for work

People love ruining shit for other people because they aren’t impacted as much .

I think you are forgetting scenario C , even after last election, which is to either not vote or vote with a moral compass for someone 3rd party or write in a candidate.

In most planes the overhead bin space is actually marked for each seat, but people just blatantly ignore it. If people abided by that or if airlines offered to reserve overhead space by seat guaranteeing you would have at least one overhead spot for your bag, people would be a lot more chill about boarding the plane.

If people bought cars based on reason, you would see a lot more Priuses and/minivans and a lot less pick up trucks and large SUVs.

They should consider allowing people to reserve overhead space or your overhead bin space is reserved when you buy your seat. I think that would get people to relax at the gate. 

Airlines should allow people to not only pick your seat but reserve your overhead bin space above your seat as well when you buy your ticket. That way people know they have a spot where there stuff can go, they know where that spaces is, and they know noone can take it.

Your boarding method would work, if and only if people abided by the overhead space rules. Putting one bag above your seat in the appropriate slot. All it takes is someone taking 2-3 spots to throw everything off.

I don’t think Trump has handled this situation well at all and his failure to prepare has allowed things to escalate.
