This year they legitimately had a chance to distribute the awards around as they had so many deserving people, but nope they just decided to plop it all on one person which is probably why their viewership seemingly has taken a dip over the last 5 years or so

I still really would have liked to see lizzo or lil Nas X win best new artist. I feel like overall Lizzo has legitimately been everywhere and her music is played everywhere with great appeal. Lil nas x went from sleeping on his sisters couch to over night holding the record for most consecutive weeks at number 1.

Its interesting how TV crime shows speak so heavily in absolutes, yet when you go through a trial no matter how definitive, every expert was clear to mention their was a margin for error.

I feel relieved that my D3 football coach made it very clear that we were students first and athletes second. He also had plans and policies set in place for players to miss practice and make up film time to prioritize taking the necessary afternoon labs in order to graduate.

Agreed, I thought the idea was who ever dropped out first would hopefully then convert their supporters to the other to still push a progressive canidate. However, this is just pitting the 2 progressive camps against each other and at this point I dont think either bernie or warren would have a good conversion rate.

I actually served on a jury for a first degree murder trial. It was a huge learning experience and I actually came out of it learning alot about the justice system. It also makes you realize, how glamorized and bullshit all TV shows are that show trials and evidence.

Interesting highlights:

I actually got called and sat a trial for a murder 1 case ( life with out parole) for a guy who shot his sisters boyfriend in front of the mom.

I think it is a contributing however I think there are some other cultural changes that also are effecting marriage, birth rates, and home ownership.

My guess is that they are assuming we now are aware of the dangers of student loan debt and any current student will better know what they are getting into. I dont really think we have learned much and I assume in another 15 years we’ll be having the same conversation about student loans.

I would also note that the porsche will probably offer a more luxurious interior than said tesla. Never really found the interiors of Teslas to be much of anything worth a luxury tag.
