It’s interesting when one side known for staunch ideological support of something, i.e. states rights vs. strong federal power to regulate, suddenly flips for a specific issue. The argument would seem more credible if directed at the federal policy being too lenient rather than a single state’s right to regulate

I actually really appreciate sites like this that give me a 10,000 foot overview of what’s being talked about in the press. I don’t have time to read every magazine out there; capsule summaries like this help me figure out which articles are worth my time to track down and read in full.

And I probably would’ve blown that on a sketchy Craigslist M3 or something.

I’ve seen this before. Someone in software is debugging something, ramps up the logging, fixed 6 the problem and either forgets to turn off the logging or the software manager re-tasks the software person to something else. As a complement to actual mirrors, this is great. Some new cars will project the side camera image into the gauge cluster or info screen, and that’s super. But getting rid of the mirror is a terrible idea. Camera circuitry can fail. The screen the image is displayed to can fail. Software can be buggy and crash.
