I think panels like these should just be hard-wired to an exhaust fan so that the car doesn’t get so hot in the sun. Might help preserve the interior bits as well.

This is the perfect absolutely-no-fucks-left-to-give vehicle and I want it.

The death wobble smooths out if you go fast enough. : P

They're never driven fast, just revved insanely loud at every stop light.

Through high school and college my buddy got 11 tickets in a ‘97 explorer that often had a broken front sway bar link.

School zones.

This. My sister drives an older Corolla (2003?) and last year she asked me to take a look at it because it was making noises. I asked her how long it had been making noises and she said 2 days. Turns out it had been leaking oil and the engine was basically dry. She didn’t notice the giant puddle of oil the car left in

My brother had a similar situation. Was going to get a new car when his Corolla died. He tried to sell at at carmax but they offered him like $500 for it and he’s not the type to sell the car to someone on craigslist or autotrader.  He said for $500, he would run it into the ground till he got his Tesla Model 3. You know what? I don’t hate it.

My nuanced take: Ferrari is overstepping their bounds but I, also, would not want to be associated with those nasty-ass shoes.

The problem really is that no car is “US Made” anymore. It’s a global supply chain for every component of the vehicle, so does it really matter where the final assembly is? You can’t force consumers to buy subpar vehicles just because the profits from go to the C-suite of companies that are located in America.

The license plate said fresh and it had dice on the wheels.

I’ll worry about that in my next life when I can afford a car like that.

Don’t forget that possibly even more importantly, it’s mid-engined so it would have to be a custom part. GM doesn’t have a lot of manual transmissions for Mid-engine cars that can handle 500+ HP

So if the drivetrain moves to the rear does the Camry’s dent move to the front?

Well James May actually did a real unboxing of the Yaris GRMN.
