first of all, where the hell are these kids? As a teen I don't know anybody inside or outside my friend circle who does this. Also, when does "night" start in this study, and is it just for kids who are at home or away at a party or something?

what about acoustic based touch input? a microphone on the phone picks up your tapping noises (anywhere on the phone not just screen) and then runs it through an algorithm to figure out where in space on the device it is.

I haven't seen that many graphics intensive games like those on the psp on android, I am unsure if these specs are good enough because if this is true, then it is just a high end android phone with a different control scheme and specialized sony market.

@branchan: people would pay anything to make sure their house doesn't completely burn down, maybe not 75,000, but for 10,000 anyone would pay. I however would really prefer if it was just built into taxes, this shouldn't be some sort of luxury.

I would kind of understand if they said OK, now you have to pay us double/triple/50X or whatever , but to go there, and to do nothing is a dick move. I would almost prefer if they hadn't gone at all or said that they were really busy or something; but you don't go to the house and wait around. Regardless, the $75…
