2 months ago i bought a e39 540i with dinan supercharger, m5 brakes, koni adjustables and dinan sway bars. everything works. doesnt overheat. makes 450hp and runs 12s. havent hit top speed but will do well over 150 for sure.

they are. i'm building a Locost and has a friend with a finished one. both will be well under $10k with a used drivetrain. w/o a drivetrain maybe under $5k. and thats for a very nicely done model. not just barely running
