I live in California and have all my life, and every car I’ve purchased has been a California car so i never understood why everyone always bitched about rusty cars.
I live in California and have all my life, and every car I’ve purchased has been a California car so i never understood why everyone always bitched about rusty cars.
This is one of the results of a self entitled generation thinking the world revolves around them.
There is something peaceful about driving a Miata. I’ve driven so many cars ranging from an old 80’s cars to modern AMG’s/M’s. I think the best car I’ve ever driven was a 93 miata in the California summer. You can actually enjoy driving the Miata, taking turns quickly, abusing the car, red lining every gear, and not…
I didn’t say im surprised if it comes around to bite me, im just saying the law is joke. It’s a ridiculous law, its more upsetting how people use the “law” to sue unsuspecting people.
Really? Scrap a car because someone can’t afford to smog it? By the sound of it money isn’t a big deal to you, but for anyone who’s barley cutting it selling a car for $500-$1000 is a big help.
Absolutely, that is a great way to flip cars/get a good price. The only problem is here in California the prices for these beat down cars are ridiculous and through the roof. It’s rare to find a really good deal now.
Don’t forget about California smog and its horrible law around it. California law is so f***ed when its comes to the smog. The buyer and seller could both sign a document stating that the car will NOT pass smog, and that it would be the buyers responsibility to fix the car and to pass smog. And the buyer can STILL…
If you have a wife/girlfriend im surprised she didn’t murder you when you stained those shoes.
It’s not too surprising. Their cars are still pretty damn affordable for what they offer. 20k for an automatic passat 1.8T.
I get what your saying, but i can see why someone would make a post “defending” their self. I mean come on..the title makes this a race issue, or implies it at the least..which isn’t suprising, the media makes everything a race issue..put something in the title like “white” or “black” = more clicks.
I don’t get your article, you bash on a test pipe without mentioning anything about getting a tune to use it (if you run a test pipe a turbo car and get a tune you’ll get significant gains..think or WRX/Evo, ect any modern turbo car), but you mention a high flow cat and tune. Whats with that?
The discount is great and all, but i feel like the Z28 should already have a MSRP of 50-60k...who the hell is going to pay 70-80k for a freaking Camaro.
Removing the front end on Audi’s is expected when doing any major work, its called “Service position” it only takes 20-30 minutes to remove the front end if you know what your doing, the hardest part is finding something to block the oil cooler lines from leaking. Once the front end is off and you get over the fear of…
120k miles is not high for a 9 year old daily driven car.
Come on..17k for a e39 540i? You can get a e39 M5 for that or even less. Or a next gen salvage M5.
You beat me to it!
When does a manufacturer issue a recall?
I actually bought the car as a flip with a bad auxiliary water pump. I fixed the pump and drove the car around for about 2 days. I was feeling ballsy while driving home and decided to go past 3.5k rpms. My mistake. The passenger side turbo started making a loud whining noise under boost (i’ve experience failing/blown…
I bought a 2.7T a few months ago, i drove up to 5000 rpm and blew a turbo. So yeah, that happened. I sold it the next day at a gas station.
I didn’t realize this at the time. But my drivers ED instructor was a d-bag (i didnt notice because i was 16 and super excited to drive a car). He’d show up anywhere from 30 min - 2 hours late to the appointment (he’d pick me up from my house). My training course consisted of me driving him around to run errands, and…
