It’s not a secret anymore..

Im surprised, the article is missing Audi’s! the B5 or B6 S4, and the S6.

So its a Toyota Echo with gull wing doors?

Mitsubishi still makes cars?

I just don’t see whats so special about this car.

This is my favorite one because this kid wasted $250. 2 years ago i was selling a 1998 c280 on craigslist. I bought the car from the auction with very minor damage (rear bumper had to be replaced, that’s it). Super clean car, in MINT condition, around 120k miles. I was upfront with the buyer, told him that the car was

LOL. Im fairly confident they were on meth while typing this up.

I’m planning on buying a TDI soon, im not worried about the recall. If they do install a software update or update the hardware it’ll be reversed when i take it to my local tuning company and get it flashed.

It’s very sad that the accident happened, but wow what an idiot this girl is. Since the law suit was filed in California there’s a very low chance it’ll be dismissed (common sense is absent in the California courts). So, does this mean we can start suing beer companies when someone gets drunk, runs a red light and

Most lifetime part warranty’s are only toward the person’s name on the invoice. Most shops give a 1-3 month warranty on labor. After that labor warranty expires and the part with the life time warranty fails guess what? Your going to be paying labor to have that part replaced. It’s pretty funny to watch people freak

While normally i would disagree with you if this was a different high performance German car Mercedes are fairly reliable and easy to work on compared to other German cars. FYI, regrading pricing i just had a family member pick up a 08 E63 AMG with 40k miles from the auction with minor damage, it’ll come to to around

This is pretty awesome, im in the market next year for a TDI :)

For that price you can get a B6 or B7 S4 and avoid the stress inducing 2.7T engine.

As mentioned already, its fucking pathetic how VW is already being estimated to pay 18 billion in fines/losing its reputation over a scandal like this (which i think is minor compared to other manufacturers scandals), i do care about the environment as much as the next guy, but holy shit compared to GM who’s ignition

The balls on VW..

Eh, these are all minor issues. Nothing to worry about.

What a shock! This article has dampened my mood.

I’d say any 4 cylinder Japanese car. Also the newer 2.0T Audi/VW engines, their actually pretty simple compared to the older 1.8T engines.

Anyone who buys a 15+ year old German car, has 0 mechanical knowledge or experience, then complains about maintenance cost.

2000-2003 Mercedes S class. You can easily pick one up for 2-4k.
