That’s not a fair representation of OP’s point, and I think you know that.

I don’t think its fair or correct to describe someone as “awful” because they hold objectionable views or have done objectionable things in the past. Doesn’t it really have to do with the severity of the action at hand? Can we not make our reactions proportional? Is it good that he used the n-word? No. Does it make…
Many “sportsball” type people pointed out how terrible a lot of professional athletes are for a variety of reasons. Now we’re seeing a lot of professional gamers (whether that be streamers/youtubers or e-sports type people) are just as awful.
That is the big thing people seem to skip over, context and intent. If it is part of a song (yes I know that in this case the word was not in the song, or not that part of it anyways), and the song is not designed to be racist, go for it. “Bow Down” by Ice Cube? Sure. The parody song of “Battle Hymn of The Republic”…
I believe that either we’re all allowed to say that word or none of us are.
Yeeeaahhhh, that was a nice comeback but I won a Street Fighter II World Championship when I was twelve. Well, maybe not a *world* championship but it was at a Pizza Hut. And while not exactly a tournament there were a few teammates from my Little League team. I didn’t win, either. There parents picked them up and I…
It was then that Fujibayashi and his team realized they’d made something special a very big mistake.
Except the game is broken, and it only has become worse and worse as time goes on. This is nothing new and goes all the way back to when they started slashing the payouts in specific missions, and when they couldn’t slash the payouts enough they removed the mission all together.
So what if I only want to play for a hour or two a day, a few times a week to mess around with friends, so I would have to spend weeks grinding for one car or whatever, playing boring races and missions by myself and not even enjoying it.
It’s about fairness to the other players.
I get that dunkey tries to show how dumb people are for telling others what they should pick (they are), but honestly, I’ve seen it time and time again that my team loses the match because we have ranged-defensive characters as the attackers and capturing the point doesn’t work well when you have the half team…
Rather than “hardcore”, I would describe the puzzle as something that is loosely related to the game. Complex puzzles are fine if they involve game-related patterns or lore which might be complex yet understandable.
“It’s one of the wildest quests we’ve seen in Destiny so far. Here’s the full walkthrough if you want to try it for yourself.”
Contrary to your article Patricia, he doesn’t lose his shit at all. I find his reaction seriously underwhelming. Considering the history of betrayal and hardship the Minutemen and Preston had to go through, that the Minutemen’s sole existence is to make boston a safe (raider-free!) place, that is his reaction when you…
Just an FYI, as a fellow league player, you’re the person that everyone hates. You reactively proved the OP’s point by being a reactionary asshole. Good job.
Coming from Competitive Dark Souls, Competitive Destiny, and even Casual Call of Duty, I could EASILY say League is the worst of them all. I can’t speak for the other MOBAs, but it’s definitely not a problem with competitive games, It’s a problem with this type of competitive game.
I enjoyed my time with it in beta. Certain aspects of it, that made it inherently unbalanced in the moba-esque multiplayer component, turned me off to making it a purchase, however. Individual leveling being the most prominent mechanic I took issue with. The co-op grind for stat cards/gear being the second.
Overwatch…
I know, let’s write more articles about women playing video games and cos playing. That’s totally news.
Thats basically the same thing. Why segregate the brackets into Mens and Womans? They are like everyone else, theres no disadvantage or advantage being either gender while gaming.
You seriously must be joking. Golf and tennis have consistent prize money throughout the WHOLE year, player appearance money, television/ad revenue, and huge corporate sponsorships. This is ONE tournament per year, and e-sports is still chump change in comparison.
