Seriously, it's no big deal. Last time my boyfriend bought me some, an elderly woman apparently was telling him he was a saint basically for it when she saw him picking them out! Ha.

I immediately recognized it as a lobster tail because of this:

So if you wonder about how poor women can afford tampons and pads, you're a nasty c*** who needs to work. If you try to save money by using a diva cup or washable pads, you're also a nasty c****. I suppose the solution is to have babies to stop those pesky periods that gross people out so much.

That's a non-sequitur.

Thank you, he's more than twice my age at least now so they're ruining their point with a man I couldn't care less about.

Exactly!

It's boundaries. If Brad Pitt didn't know me or I had already made it clear I'm not interested, the roses would be creepy. If he knew me, and I hadn't made it clear I wasn't interested, it could be sweet, but if after receiving the roses I said that it's very sweet but I'm not interested and Brad Pitt ups the ante,

They're creepy when done by strangers! Get a billboard for your girlfriend, not that girl you see on the train everyday.

Grand gestures should come from people you know, not strangers. And if you know them, you should know whether or not they would enjoy a grand gesture.

What. That is a horrible friend, what the fuck. She planned on screwing you by waiting until after you paid to do that. If my friend said, hey I'm broke right now, I would say, it's okay I got it! But if a friend did that, I would, one, call them on it, and two, back off the friendship.

Waiters have to tip out on the post tax amount. I don't know what that means exactly, but apparently it is expected to tip on the post tax amount. I had always thought it was acceptable to tip pre-tax but always tipped on post-tax totals anyway.

I checked, there are as many sites that say 18-20%. What I found as the justification for this change is that while minimum wage has risen, the servers' minimum wage has not. So, the increase in tipping makes up for the decrease (compared to inflation) in wages. Thanks for making me look that up though, I had not

In certain restaurants, I always ask waitresses which is more convenient for them.

I hope they let customers know, so they choose cash...

Thanks. Maybe it's the part where change can mean leftover amount or coins, but the wording confused me haha. Glad I'm doing it right.

20% tip is the standard tip. I don't know, the only people I have heard state that 15% is for good service were much older than me (though I have seen plenty of young people tip 15% and less—I'm not saying older people are poor tippers, just that I have only heard this from older people). I've never been a server,

Yeah but when you buy a burger, fries, and Coke while your friend got filet mignon, an appetizer, and a few alcoholic drinks, splitting is ridiculously unfair. It is penny pinching if you do it over a dollar or two, but I'm not going to spend $10+ more because someone wanted drinks/dessert/etc. This isn't a problem

Honestly, I prefer to have everybody do the math instead of splitting the check just because that way I can ensure that they don't leave a crappy tip. It is annoying how that happens though, suddenly there's not enough money...

CA Pinkham! Please help I'm having a comprehension problem.

Yes. Go to any Dunkin Donuts in southern New England and you will get cream and sugar (3 creams 3 sugars in a small if I'm remembering correctly—they write it on the side for you so if this guy ever read his cup he would also have an idea.)
