It’s Aquaman Jesus I feel sorry for, walking on water prevents him from going home to see his family.

If you combine the two, you flunk your classes.

A source at the time said it was twenty-five percent animated before the big retool — storyboarding and voice recording would be ahead of that, of course, but in that state any version of it would be more of a curiosity than a conventional release.

If they’re still basing the film on Flashpoint, that’s a story about the timeline being changed a couple of times, so it’d provide opportunities for cameos without commitment.

One bit of context for Morrison’s Justice League is that it’s a book with all the big guns together, after years of found-family with lesser names. It’s a deliberate contrast.

“No animals were harmed during the making of this episode.

You know, I kind of think it is better. It’s all-in on its aesthetic (silly and OTT as that is) rather than being half-arsed about it.

Partly because it wasn’t in the original version of her post, she added it later on. Very much worth bringing attention to, though.

Whedon’s arc of Runaways had a similar idea to this, which felt rather shoehorned in there.

Besides anything else, Romeo and Juliet belongs to a stage genre where the protagonist always dies, and then tells you they do in the prologue.

Two thoughts — if you’re trying to write a secret-history story rather than a full-on alternate universe, an underclass is an easier thing to fit into our world than powerful oppressors. (Superhero comics have their roots in stories about our world plus some people with powers, even though many have gotten a lot more

It just consists of the Marvel characters going “Okay, you’re from a long time ago, you’re from the future, after the whole Thanos business we’re not getting involved in this again.”

....in which direction?
