I completely agree. Maybe because of the marketing, but I thought it would be a straight up comedy. And it does have it’s funny moments, but about 2/3 of the way through it suddenly takes a really dark turn that I wasn’t prepared for.

I’m not sure that’s really a hot take. Bea Arthur, and even the cartoon with Bobba Fett are the only good things about the Holiday Special. I just want to know how much weed was smoked before the writers thought five minutes of wookies talking to each other (with no subtitles) was a good idea.
