I just can’t deal with any more news today about corrupt people getting away with things. The Sacklers, every freaking Republican in Texas, this asshole. Heard so much crap about “taking responsibility for your own actions” from Republicans my entire life. The hypocrisy is unbelievable.
lol
Holy fucking shit leaving the scene of a deadly accident is a fucking FELONY in most states. Is it not a felony in SD? And guilty people claim to be innocent all the time, you know what happens? The case goes to FUCKING TRIAL and a jury decides. This is so laughably corrupt it’s pathetic. But no one in SD will care…
If they voted him out, they’d have to admit they were wrong in the first place. Their specific brand of moral cowardice is based on their absolute terror of discovering they are not right all the time. That someone else could be right, and they’d have to admit it, even a tacit admission, is the worst possible thing…
If you hit a deer wearing glasses, perhaps you’ve had too many drinks.
Someone powerful not being held accountable for their actions, eh? Wonder what their political party affiliation is...
ah, yup.
Yeah, even having the moon temporarily dip into the atmosphere is still gonna be enough to like, rip of most of the atmosphere and set the entire surface of the planet on fire, while also sloshing the oceans around in the most incredible tsunamis ever, leaving the surface of the Earth lifeless, scorched, drowned, or…
Why do these assholes all look like thumbs?
I guess the internet was right to hate the moon after all.
Looks like the Roland Emmerich Shit Gets Fucked Up In The Biggest Way Cinematic Universe is back on track, and will culminate in his magnum opus, Everything Go Boom, And You’d Best Believe I Do Mean Everything.
And the most egregious example, “Legends of the Fall.”
I mean, this feels like a parody. Like something that would appear as a movie-within-a-movie in “Tropic Thunder” or something.
At least this movie promises to deliver on its title, unlike that piece of crap Skyfall.
Looks like it might be fun. It has to be better than Independence Day 2. Right?
I’m a sucker for Roland Emmerich disaster movies no matter how dumb they are, and this looks to be super-dumb, so I’m into it.
The plot doesn’t look to be much like it, but did anyone ever figure out if this is an actual adaptation of the Jack McDevitt book “Moonfall”, or whether there’s going to be a fun lawsuit soon?
This may be an unpopular opinion but many of my Pro-life friends seem to be more Pro-birth instead of pro-life. Many arguments fall in the scope of “don’t do the deed if you can’t live with the consequences” which is woefully lacking in empathy IMO. They just care that the mother gets their perceived “come-uppance”…
Seems like a lot of Texans share commonalities with the Taliban. Love of guns, and control of women. However I am concerned about Jan’s future plans regarding her sex work. Clearly her birth control failed her. Does she have other ideas about how to protect her health and prevent more unwanted prenancies? I am…
