It sounds like the hospital did administer Ivermectin to the patient?

The legal and legislative processes are exactly the wrong place to determine medical care.
Everybody is going to get sued on this one. Even if he survives, they will sue just because he was sick. He will lose but, as I tell my brother the lawyer all the time, my goal in this situation is not to win a lawsuit. It is to not have to spend two years of my life being sued.
It seems to me that with the exception of the AC electricals, they simply left out everything else that would have to comply with any standard. No gas fitting for example (which I could probably live with, I prefer to cook outside). Given there’s no battery/solar, I’d guess that there’s nothing terribly complex about…
As a nurse I’d be in contempt because I would refuse to administer the drug, I wouldn’t trust the stupid ass wife to not sue everyone’s ass when he more than likely dies and my judgement would be called into question for administering it. If no physician at my facility, even the hacks I wouldn’t let touch me if I were…
Judges shouldn’t have any say what to treat anyone with. “Do no harm” tops everything.
These idiots will put anything in their body other than the COVID-19 vaccine, won’t they?
Turns out the Prez and other GOPers have stock holdings in the maker of it. Coincidence?
I would be in jail for contempt. Maybe not for refusing the judges order, but definitely for calling him a fucking moron and a danger to himself and others.
Standard joke, but you might want to modify it for lawyers since it is a judge dictating the dangerous treatment here.
The same thing that will happen to this in a few months, then the search will be on for miracle cure #3.
What happened to these lunatics other darling drug, hydroxychloroquine? They wouldn’t STFU about that shit before. I thought THAT was supposed to be the miracle cure?
Unless the doctor has privileges at that hospital they shouldn’t be compelled to do shit. On the flip side, if they can compel them to give off-label ivermectin then maybe we can compel everyone to get FDA approved vaccinations.
Other things that have been proven to be at least as effective against Covid as Ivermectin: Seances. Orange juice hair washes. Having family members chant the name ‘Penelope’ three times a day (t.i.d. for the cool kids) while hopping on one foot. Hydroxychloroqine. Anti-demon semen suppositories. Prayer.
What do you call the guy who (probably) graduated last in his class of med school (in this case Universidad Central del Este Facultad de Medicina in the DR)?
I’d feel better about this since it wasn’t a home built project like so many of these camper busses.
Yes, in all respects.
Hotels are pretty comfortable, and allow you to wash yourself properly, for the most part. And allow you to not have to carry a bucket of shit around with you in the bus.
It looks nice. I’m always wary about getting someone else’s project, especially since so many of these builds are done with homebuilding skills and not necessarily automotive skills. Skills that may or may not be code compliant let alone RV or automotive code. There is a lot that’s done with these “domestic” builds…
Not bad. But $33K buys a pretty nice used purpose-built RV with a shower.
