On my hunt for my perfect sunscreen on the affordable side I’ve had the best luck with Blue Lizard, got the sensitive mineral 50 spf one to be specific. I’ve got the most sensitive skin possible and it’s one of the only ones to not irritate the hell out of my face. I think it would be a good fit for a kid as well.

It looks like others have the base of the arguments covered, so I’m just going to say one thing:

We don’t even have buses in my town honestly, there’s bus stops but no buses. So I’d have to walk the 10 miles to the light rail station, wait probably 30 minutes for it to show up, take a 30 minute or so train ride to a sketchy area near my job. Walk the half mile or so to my office and possibly risk getting stabbed…

Definitely a life saving skill to have, would be good to learn to tread water too but if you were to learn in a class they would hopefully cover that too.
