I think you nailed exactly what I was going to type.
As soon as I see the word “appropriation”, I always get this sinking feeling that I am readying poorly researched article by a young intern who hasn’t traveled enough or seen enough of the world to understand the intersections between art and culture.

lol the audio is blown out and there’s an overuse of HDR and digital post-processing, it looks bad in a 2006 way not a 1960s way. It doesn’t look like an old tv show or a B-movie or anything like that, it looks more like that first Lonely Island sketch where they eat lettuce or maybe a church youth group video.

That’s just how a lot of people talk. They aren’t trying to sounds cool, it’s just that “fucking around with Cheez-Its” is the phrase they wanted to use. It’s not fully interchangeable with “messing around” or “screwing around” or “effing around” or whatever else, “fucking around” and “fucking with” and “fucking up”…

I’ve cleared it with the fists more than any weapon, it pretty much always boiled down to spamming dash-strike back and forth across the map
