This season wraps things up nicely. I don't see how there's more story left to fill another season with. True, some things remain a bit vague (like the nature of the monster or the upside down or El's powers), but I don't see the need to overexplain everything. There are also some half-assed cliffhangers, but it's

El, as sweet, interesting and well played as she is, was a bit of a problem throughout for me. It's always a little frustrating when a story introduces a character that basically has all the answers to everything early on, but can't articulate them for arbitrary reasons and provides some bits and pieces of information

I enjoyed her especially in the later episodes. She brings some real warmth to the role of the fierce mother who refuses to give up on her child.

Killam hasn't been Trump for a year. They went back to Hammond.

After one episode, what sticks out is definitely the casting. They went to great length to not cast the usual pretty faces but to actually find distinctive types like Spielberg did back then. The boys are particularly striking. I'm afraid they don't stand much of a chance to land big roles in today's casting

In other words: The list was shit. Even with this questionable addendum (Freddy Got Fingered - really?), it's still incomplete.

I just saw that it got nods for main titles and main title music, but that's it. I think Daredevil has more nominations.

Apparently everybody has already forgotten that Jessica Jones exists.

Given her lackluster storyline this season, It's rather puzzling that she's picked over Sophie Turner.

Because she's good in giving pompous speeches in made up languages.

Personally, I think there's no point in talking with these people anymore, especially not online where nothing matters anyway. I find solace in the knowledge that this particular type of nutcase is heading towards extinction, because they are mostly old, white dudes, and they are getting crazier and crazier, because

No.

All the gun problems will surely be solved within the week it's delayed.

That drunk driving story is at least…something.

I think the main flaw of Ghostbusters 2 is that it just tried to repeat the first one instead of building on it. It even sends the guys back into obscurity and they are considered frauds, although they saved the entire city a few years earlier. It would have been much more fruitful to explore a world that now believes

Yes, a complete disaster, especially the ending that was like "Didn't like the ending of the book? Here's an even shittier one!".

As a reviewer myself with years of experience from the bottom of the barrel to high art, I can assure you that most movies indeed end up landing in the C/B territory (or in my usual rating system, in the 5-7/10 range). If you watch 1000 movies at random, at least half of them will be average (and rather forgettable).

You just raped my childhood.

I would fall ill too if I had to be around an abusive asshole a lot.

Because money.
