I absolutely love Mass Effect 3, shitty ending and all. It doesn’t have the best ending, but the individual character stories all have excellent conclusions. Plus, it has the best combat of the series. Mass Effect 1 is still my favorite, but 3 closely follows it.
It is the skin mixed with the weird emoting and the eyes that look like they are always too open. And the neutral animations look completely unnatural, like the characters are robots. (Could they all be robots? That would be a twist.)
Overall, it is a small thing for me. I am still interested in the game.

More than likely they are using an algorithm to animate the faces based on input text and not animating them by hand, which would give you a much more emotive response, if the animator is any good. It’s corner cutting, but hey, most wont care, and they save a bunch of money.

Except that’s the thing I don’t understand. Unless I missed something, double jeopardy has not attached because the grand jury decided not to indict him. This isn’t like the OJ civil case where he had already been acquitted and they could force straight answers out of him in deposition.

I wish the conversations in these type of games (Mass Effect, Witcher 3, Horizon, etc.) in terms of the camera movement, it’s a minor nitpick but I think it could really help in terms of mood and tone for some of these dialogue interactions.
