I can read and comprehend.

It’s not rude to speak another language in public you ignorant asshat.
If you are uncomfortable because (OMG) you hear another language, you need to get out more. And I do not mean just you specifically.

It is ZERO percent rude to speak another language in this country. You are ignorant for

You’re right, I worded it wrong. I definitely, know Puerto Rico is part of the US, I probably need some more prepositions or adverbs in my rant. Or maybe less coffee. :)

I like it! But it would imply they had a clue.

I have been known to curse at people like this in various languages, but if I go ‘Full Spanish’ it’s generally time to back away :)

I’m a fool because I honestly think things would get better over time, not worse. A lot of things like this happened to me 20 years ago, and it just seems like it’s multiplied.

I almost want to start some kind of church of science, or maybe I could just start an organization to hand out library cards.

Crazy times.

It’s been SO many years, wish I could remember how to respond ;)

What? We don’t have an official language, people can speak whatever language they want in public.

Go to London, you’ll hear 10 different languages in a single block. We live on a globe, not some kind of bubble cities encased in glass and should stay the same forever.

This completely makes me foam at the mouth in anger.

I’m white, born and raised south of Boston. Had never left the country at the time, but had done very well in school with various foreign languages.

Fast forward to college in Orlando, Florida and I was working at a Tex-MEX restaurant, and I would try and speak

Topher Grace would have been an amazing (and better) Peter Parker.

He had the gangly physique and all the wise-crackin’ down cold from That 70's Show.

I don’t think Republicans care what he’s done because ‘the economy!’.

It also completely blows my mind the President can fire the people that are in charge of investigating any crimes he may have committed.

That seems to be a huge gap in the concept of checks and balances?

Seriously, I do not understand this or the idea to have Hillary run again.

It’s almost like the DNC isn’t paying attention.

I love the fact that Sunny comes off as super crass, but it’s actually very aware and usually trying to make a point about whatever that week’s issue is.

I’m not saying it’s squeaky clean, but I think a lot of the times it’s not saying what you might think it’s trying to say.

Also, Megan Ganz is a writer this season!

I forgot to add, quite a good article Caroline! I admit I hold Hughes to a high standard but will have to read more about his off-screen behavior.

I admit I did enjoy Sixteen Candles for some of Anthony Hall’s manic goofiness but was much more a Ferris Bueller fan.

For some reason, I don’t recall watching Say Anything, even though I had watched just about anything with John Cusack.

That being said, isn’t Lloyd Dobler almost a stalker? I didn’t get any rom-com

I am by no means woke, but so much of that show was super awkward to watch even then.

I mostly liked the Jim vs. Dwight pranks because Dwight was such a jerk and buffoon. But I sort of hate-watched it for some of the lighter moments.

It does look very Ed Hardy, but at least he’s giving a shoutout to Peaky Blinders?

I enjoyed this weeks episode but nodded off in the middle somewhere. I think I wanted much more for the big premiere, but that’s ok.

I love the new companions and JW as The Doctor is quite solid. Sheffield vs. London or Cardiff was quite nice, and I like how she’s wicked handy now. Only thing I actually missed was the

The ending of Justified with the dialogue between Raylon and Boyd is one of my favorites ever.

Right? Lex would have chucked all the Kryptonite in space and just about punched anyone in the mouth if they badmouthed aliens.

Instead we got..something else. Rosenbaum as Lex was pretty brilliant.

That is one thing the show handled (mostly) well. Lex just wanted a damn friend, and Jonathan and Clark swatted away his hand every time.

A true tragedy, my favorite part of the series.
