A video camera in the trailer showing what these two argued about is maybe the one reality show I’d watch.

Did he actually confess? I thought he did one of those “I took something” type non-confessions.

Agreed on both counts! I had to pass the PD set on the way to lunch each day so I’d always sort of walk slow and half-wave when the cast was outside lol.

I worked on the Warner lot while he was filming Chuck (Pushing Daisies was next door, omg), and he is DEFINITELY one of the nicest celebrity types I’ve ever met.

I’d see him in the Starbucks on the lot, joking with the staff, goofing around, everything. The whole gang was actually very nice (outside of the blond

I would be heartbroken if it was Russell, because he’s been acting for about 60 years and is an American treasure.

Some folks are saying it’s not Eastwood, but he seems to be the only new one to the team. This is a mystery that needs to be solved!

I don’t understand this.
He refused to switch positions, but he’ll switch sports?

I was under the impression he had a lot of offers if he’d play anything but quarterback.

How good does Epstein look right now?

As a lifelong Sox fan, I’m obviously grateful for what he did with the team, and I’m happy he’s doing a pretty kickass job for the Cubs. This years All-Star Game had his fingerprints all over it.

It feels like a slightly darker Super 8, which is part ET and some of the others anyways.

Yea and SPOILERS..

I absolutely loved the score, and lot of it made me feel like I was watching a John Carpenter film..which is totally a good thing.

It is a bit of a slow burn, but the actor that plays the Sheriff (who always plays a jerk) was great, the kids were great, and Eleven I thought was amazing in that she could convey so much

What struck me with playing LoL is how unfriendly so many people have been. Some are generally cool, but damn, it’s usually either silence or hostility when you’re starting out.

I can’t disagree with much of what you’ve written here, but I would say a big difference is that Ghostbusters is almost considered a classic, while I think a lot of ID4 was timing.

I am sure there are people that will watch ID4 again, but I think a lot of that initial audience was there for the spectacle on July 4th.

I totally get that, but should he not be picking the jokes he finds funniest? Each host does that, I thought that was the point.

Thanks, you definitely made some good points. To a certain degree, if he thinks it’s funny, what is he to do? After all, he is the one who will be using those words on camera.

I’ve noticed a lot in the responses that he likes jokes for “white men”.
I am a white man, but unless his comedy is somehow poking fun at

You bring up a great point, and I have a question relating to that.

There was an article written by some ladies who work in visual effects (VFX) that talked about how it is a male-dominated environment. But something I found odd is that a BIG chunk of management (and definitely HR) was comprised of women.

You’re totally right, I would imagine an SNL vs. Colbert show is a big leap due to the different amount of voices. And you’re right again, not everyone’s style of writing is going to fit the vessel.

Come to think of it, does anyone know what writers room is like for the Daily Show now that it has Noah instead of

That is an excellent point. I don’t actually watch his new show (or his last), so I only guessed he had a sort of mock-liberal type sense of humor.

I would be really interested in seeing demographics of the different shows versus the composition of the writers room for each show.

I see what you are saying, but Colbert states that he reads a funny joke and then asks who that person is.

Isn’t that how it should be? Like if you present a bunch of material to him without names or pictures, then he’s choosing what he thinks is funniest. I don’t know a better system than that.

Now if someone who’s

Yes. I bet a bunch think he’ll just bomb the sh@! out of the whole Middle East.

I can hear the ‘Murica chants right now.

Whenever I post pro-Hillary (or anti-Trump) things on Facebook, I immediately have friends that bash Hillary.

These are people that I would normally think rational, intelligent, human beings. But then they’ll say Trump “says whatever’s on his mind”, even if he doesn’t have any facts to back that up. Ugh..
