Nowadays we have grown men collecting disability checks for having anxiety and or depression. Oh my god, really?! Men 50 or 60 years ago didn't have that luxury. They worked and supported their families and sucked it up if they didn't feel happy 100% of the time. Now there are all these invented or exaggerated

Yeah right. And you're being presumptive in assuming that everyone who tries to kill themselves is mentally ill. Are belligerent and ignorant the best you could come up with? If someone is literally mentally ill, as in it incapacitates them, then obviously it is not their fault. I am talking about serious mental

You have no idea what my experience is with this. My father tried to kill himself over and over again when I was a teen. I used to have nightmares of my father jumping off buildings while I ran to save him. My daughter's father basically killed himself with drugs. I attempted suicide before I had a child. I haven't

All you are giving me is anecdotal evidence. I have memories. You can't objectively say what would've become of Nirvana had Kurt not done what he did because your opinion is skewed by the effect that his suicide had on culture. Keeping Michael Jackson from the number one spot at that time really isn't saying much. I

Actually no, my comment had nothing to do with his celebrity status at all. My daughter's father died of a drug overdose when she was just a baby. I have seen first hand the effects of growing up without a father. My daughter has always been sad that her father died, even though she doesn't remember him. My comment

That's your opinion so don't try to say it as if it's some kind of ultimate truth. I was in my teens during the grunge years and I liked all those bands but they went away. Nirvana wasn't reaching legend status at all. Infact, their popularity was starting to wane just before Unplugged came out. It was only when Kurt

I completely agree. I think the Kurt-love needs to end. He was human and killing himself should not make him a god. He was a coward. I don't care what Courtney has done, it's not as bad as Kurt selfishly killing himself, knowing his daughter would grow up without a dad.

I've always wondered that too and thought she got a bum rap. I actually really like Live Through This and honestly think it's better than anything Nirvana put out. I like Nirvana but I feel that Hole was a better band. I've always felt bad for Courtney more than anything. We don't know what kind of hell Kurt might

I'm poor and I watch mostly the "rich people" shows. I do love Bob's Burgers though but that's because it's pretty original for the genre.

I read The Shining before I saw the movie and I hated the movie once I did see it. I know it was Stanley Kubrick, the supposed genius who can do no wrong, but I did not like his interpretation of the story at all. I think horror movies are very subjective. I also found Session 9 to be quite chilling and good.
