Porsche guys just like to complain. When the “short hood” 911s came out, they complained about the ugly bumpers. The 964s were heavy, leaky and too complex. The 993s had ugly headlights; at least until the Boxsters and 996s came out, then that was quickly forgotten as they had better things to complain about like no

“We need to make something that looks like a Tahoe, but if it were unlicensed in a Video Game.”

I like. It’s not classically beautiful, but above all else I’m happy it exists.

I love all the “I’m out cause it doesn’t have....(manual, hard top, more power, etc.)” comments coming from guys currently driving 7 year old Rav4's.

Wat? 340 is quite a bit in a super-lite car.

Ladies and gentlemen I present to you...

You’re competing with Corvette’s...so act like it.”

340 is enough, you’re driving it wrong.

I mean it does nail the two door convertible with four wheels look, but I don’t see any other similarities.

hmmm... interesting point. From my brief research (I’m in LA so I have about 20 FCA dealers in arms reach), I’ve have encountered a pretty wide range in advertised prices for similarly equipped Wranglers so you could be on to something. Of course this is in no a way a blanket statement and totally anecdotal but hot

I’ve driven both now. I agree on the Model S, it’s definitely not a driver’s car - it’s best cross-shopped with maybe a previous generation 5-series or an A6. The Model 3, on the other hand, is a _blast_ to drive. Think BMW 340i with the M-package. The steering feel is like nothing else on the market, in that segment.

You do it manually, by not clicking on the story.

By seeing how he handles adversity.  Massive fail that broadcasts what he’s made of to everyone.

And probably where his maximum potential has been realized.

Once again, I’ll say that generalizing used BMW values (and to a lesser extent Audi and Mercedes) isn’t very useful. The sub-model ranges are wide, and there are many individual options and packages.

I’m shocked a 200 lasted a full three years

As of 8:04 Eastern, posting has been deleted. I think he took one look at the way the wind was blowing on the votes and pulled it.

$1.3 million? That’s a lot of Dino-ero!

I got an F30 about to run out of warranty.... seriously debating getting an extension now after your story. My luck with BMWs have been poor, I spent about $4k in parts alone for my E90 for water pump, starter, fuel pump, dashboard, etc.

And Elon is rapidly becoming a BIG liability for the brand. It’s fun to see!
