Watch out for the black cat, Don! ;)
Watch out for the black cat, Don! ;)
Of course Don would be drawn to the NY Mets, the bastard offspring of the Giants and Dodgers.
I was wondering if they would touch upon the Mets this season along with the other major events of 69. Lane's ghost really "hung" all over this episode.
Thank you!
It also airs daily on Me-TV
The Sopranos probably have 16 fatties of their own: Tony, Vito, Bobby (Sr and Jr), Ginny Sack, Allegra Sack, Big Pussy, Jimmy Altieri, Janice, etc,
That is one of my very favorite scenes ever -when the Chubby Checkers attempt to talk Dom out of overeating, but instead talk themselves into a binge for the ages.
I had watched a campy horror flick from the 70s, "Invasion of the Bee Girls," countless times on late night TV. It was hilarious, so when I saw the VHS of it in the 90s, I had to buy it and thought it would be OK to show my pre-teen nephew. Very first scene: a completely nude hippie chick rolling (very slowly) down…
I cried like a baby when Joey Ramone died. I had the pleasure of meeting him once when I was a teen and he was so friendly and down-to-earth. I knew he was sick but I really thought he would recover, or at least hang on for longer than he did. He was way too young.
I felt exactly that way last week when Ralph Kiner died. I found myself tearing up throughout the day as I realized how much of my life I've spent listening to him. It was truly like losing a beloved grandfather.
Wasn't that the Judean People's Front?
Or HER divinity
Larry Linville was genius as the idiotic Frank Burns. Frank and Hot Lips were the perfect foils in all of their hypocritical uptight lunacy. The show was never as sharply funny after Frank left.
But Samuel L Jackson was one of those random celebrities!!! I had a fondness for Talking Bad, as it helped me come down from that jittery meth-like feeling I had after BB was over. The Talking Bad after the finale was full of interesting stuff with Gilligan and most of the cast.
Goldbergs is not for everyone, but I also loved the pilot and have tuned in every week, long after I've given up on the Agents of SHIELD snooze fest.
"I Want You 'Round" my favorite Ramones song. Joey was always considered the ugly one, but he was so charismatic in that scene!
Except for Bridget Lancaster, their flirting is nauseating, and I think they are having an affair.
I loved "Jaques and Julia" shows, they would constantly bicker over the correct technique, but you could tell they really loved each other.
Because she knew if it was going to suck before she took the first bite??
Even more poignant than Moms singing "Abraham, Martin and John," was the fact that it was during an episode of "Playboy After Dark," and she was surrounded by Hef and his bimbos.
Blasphemy! The only reason I'm even still watching is for hot hot Rupert Friend
