It was looking great, right up until I found the word 'Silverlight' and gave up (as I'm on a Linux box).

@terabitten: maybe - for me it's the first thing I install whenever I have a fresh copy of firefox; 'open searches in a new tab' is just the way I want things...
@earth2marsh - you only get the 'spaceball.gif' image if the user has put restrictions on who can download the picture.
I am always having to deal with plagarism - not of my work, but of wikipedia - from students who think that copying and pasting from that is an acceptable way to write an assignment... this doesn't really help with how to deal with blog plagarism, but I generally print out the article, highlight the offending…
Sure everyone over here in the UK knows this but:
I tried this, but I found that it always seemed to show the same sequence of pictures (which annoyed me as it had 3000+ to choose from).
As a teacher, I have no choice in the matter (but at least I will have the same holidays as my son, once he is old enough to go to school).
Use different addresses at a domain name for signing up to things (e.g. amazon@mydomain.com, anotheronlineshop@mydomain.com).
Isn't this a standard feature of Flickr that has been there for at least 18 months? (The length of time I've been using it)
I've been known to use a similar technique to put my eyes back into group photos (oh the vanity) - I have a habit of blinking if I forget to use the 'red-eye reduction mode' (with lots of flashes), but everyone else has a habit of moving when I do use it. A good compromise is to take one with and one without and then…
Well, the next series of Doctor Who doesn't start for a while yet and the next season of Lost has been bought up by a subscription only channel in the UK (Sky One - which I don't get), so I can't really think of any reason to switch the TV on at the moment.
I have a gmail account. I have never given out the email address to anyone (apart from a couple of people who I sent gmail invites to). Everyone uses an email address at a domain name I own, which forwards to my real email address and gmail claims all email was sent from an address at my domain name. My website only…
@Sibot84: OK, just checked out TiddlyWiki and it does seem to use some extra JavaScript 'extensions' to save itself. I could probably nick the code and use it in mine (but probably won't get around to it) - if anyone else wants to give it a try, then feel free :-).
Just to respond to a couple of emails I've received over this - it would be great if it was possible to edit the page without opening up a text-editor, but this is not possible with JavaScript alone (which is what runs the todo list).
I've tried out eReader and AvantGo in the past, but neither of them had the nice features of Plucker - things like being able to use small text to get more on the screen and nice, smooth scrolling.
@sam-i-am: because when I am searching for a popular product, I am usually looking for a review or information about it, not for websites that are just a collection of links to retailers. If I wanted a shop comparison site, I'd have typed 'shop comparison' into Google, not 'Logitech USB camera'.
A great one of those 'why didn't I think of that' ideas.
Thanks to this tip I thought I'd give the new reader a second chance (first reaction was to go straight back to the old version).
That's an easy question for me to answer - my Cyberman costume (from Doctor Who) which I made for an annual Halloween pub-crawl. It was made from papier mache, cardboard, a boiler suit, some toilet roll tubes, some strimmer wire and far too much silver spraypaint.
