I irrationally love this artifact from before things went all grayscale. I love the steering wheel, all shiny green and fake wood. The whole interior really evokes something much older, which makes sense for the Mercury demographic.

This is a system the dealerships created. It’s not the customer’s fault you don’t make much money when they get the best deal. If you don’t want to sell them a car at a certain price you have the choice not to. Just like the customer has the choice to take a better offer elsewhere.

I know hindsight is 20/20, but that seems pretty fucked up to just bail and not try to help the guy. If the car is barely moving in heavy traffic then you should have plenty of time to reach up and pull the parking brake, or put the car in neutral, or turn the damn thing off.
Thats a lot of money to drive a Fiat 500 loaner most of the year.
It looks like it hit some Chrysler 200s, that could cause tens of dollars worth of damage.
...there was some debris on the road and the driver lost traction.
