Jesus Christ why do you care? Seriously. How does what she does, impact your life in any measurable way?

Hahaha, the way a woman chooses to live her life and work is a goal post moving. Wow. WOW.

She’s actually allowed to do whatever the fuck she wants, and you can choose to pay for her content or not. Are you this mad when bands go on multiple ‘farewell tours’ or athletes un-retire to play another season?

You’re the one babbling. She could have just fired them all and called it a day. In fact, by not doing so, imbeciles have jumped on that as a sign she hasn’t changed her streaming.

Anyone calling her a scammer or a liar is just showing their whole ass at how fucking stupid and pathetic they are. Ever since the drama and her pivoting away from hot tub stuff, her Twitch numbers have absolutely tanked. She would regularly have over 10k viewers, sometimes 15 or close to 20, now she’s usually around

just ignore it and it’ll pass over time”

It’s not really “looking for reasons” when Rowling has very publicly made those statements…but this is all spoken like someone who probably has never had to deal with comments like these directed and them. Must be nice.

People aren’t “looking for reasons” to be angry. People are rightfully angry over transphobia, and this game is based on the franchise created by one of the world’s most visible transphobes. And fuuuuuuuuuck you and your stance of “ignore it and it’ll go away”. That’s not how social change works. The trans community

I’m curious if anyone can point to a historical example of saving an employment sector by putting a technological genie back in the bottle.

While I don’t mean to downplay the ethical issues, like using artists’ works as training data without (or outright against) their wishes, at least diffusion-based AI art generators (I’m not sure about other types if there are any) are not “collages” and don’t “paste together” anything. The trained models contain zero

When I was in art school some of my teachers and most of my classmates used to tell me that I wasn’t making real art because I used Photoshop in some of my printmaking projects. This is just what happens when new technological breakthroughs occur.

Exactly. Everyone raging over AI art lately just reminds me of Metallica suing Napster. Yes, mp3s and the internet made sharing music easier and selling CDs less profitable, but the technology has vastly improved the music industry over time, and has helped countless musicians who otherwise would have had great difficu

cool story, lex. I’m sure you’re right about whatever you were on about. I’m a developer who makes games with the tech; I’m not reading your paragraphs that pretend I don’t know what I’m talking about, to make yourself feel better. You want to be civil, we can discuss our differences of thought on the tech; not it’s

No, that would be analogous to - say - the poster design represented here in High on Life. Or the way Google’s Imagen works.

And to those people, I say: “Come on, really? Come on.”

two things, 1. i think it’s worth acknowledging that i’d be more annoyed about performance issues had i paid $60 and not received a review copy 2. things should be expensive to compensate workers well and fairly, but most of a video games’ $60 is not going to the people that made it (as far as i know).

i’d love to see

it’s kinda weird that you throw around “Nintendo” like they are the developers of the software or the people who would communicate via patch notes.

That’s not snark, friend, that’s straight up contempt for people who say shit like that. This is a guy who decries the hold super movies have on the industry yet says he loves a military fantasy superhero movie.

Bullsh*t. There’s plenty of times I’ve found Chappelle funny. I didn’t find this funny. It’s not one or the other.
