I’m blessed enough that I am one of the 12 million who won’t receive the $1,400. In fact I didn’t even get the full $600. I’m okay with that if the money goes to people who need it more. If it goes to unemployment, SNAP, schools, food banks, etc...I’m good.

I think one reason people go from Spotify to Tidal and think it sounds so much better is because they don’t realize they have Spotify’s volume normalization turned on. It’s a handy feature in theory, but it ends up compressing songs that aren’t mastered super loud. Some people might not care (and that’s fine!), but…
