I was pretty delighted to see him as a recurring guest on The Bear.

Bo Burnham. Matty Matheson... I guess I’ll let others decide if he’s a d-bag or not.

This is premised on the idea that non-prequel Marvel movies had surprising endings which... what? We knew the ending of literally every Marvel movie ever made as soon as they were announced. Pretending otherwise is frankly silly as hell.

It’s not about the destination. It’s about the journey.

I’ve seen Aidy Bryant break in sketches for sure, but she’s typically better at soldiering on and recovering than anyone else in the cast.

Uh... I don’t think that’s correct.

Ehhh... it’s a descriptive phrase. It means exactly what it sounds like it means. It’s extremely well known in pop music fan circles. I think in this day and age it’s condescending to define every term someone might not be familiar with, since googling is dead simple.

LMGTFY:

Yeah. That’s why I hedged with “most.”

Who’s “we” in the headline here? Because it doesn’t seem super hard to predict that most of these would become essential tech.

I think you’re underestimating how much of Disney’s revenue comes from merchandising their properties. The shows not only lock people into a Disney+ subscription, but generate new characters and new stories to appear in toys and video games.

Sometimes people ghost because THEY were being abused. So while this law is absurd on the face of it, it really also needs a lot of detailed thought in how to protect people from abusers weaponizing this law to punish the victim of their abuse.

Except we don’t have to just accept the feeling that “ignorance, greed, and hatred” are pretty common across demographics. I don’t know of a good measure for greed off the top of my head, but we’ve got plenty of education data and survey data to tell us quite clearly that boomers and Xers are more ignorant and more

Just put a dab of super glue in there. Problem solved forever!

Yes, in the context of space missions, “commissioning” is what happens immediately after deployment. You’re using the layman’s definition, not the NASA definition - it’s an easy thing to misunderstand:

The idea that anyone is “permanently modifying” kids’ bodies is made up propaganda. Puberty blockers are not “permanent.” People think you’re hateful because you’re spreading disinformation, despite ample sources proving you’re lying. Stop lying.

You’re the one who said you’d “be skeptical” with things on the service because some of them weren’t actually produced by Netflix. You’re the weirdo in the thread - Strossus was just clarifying. Fucking grow up.

Those all happened BEFORE launching and commissioning. Reading is tough, I know.

How about he returns all the shit he stole over the years?

People who don’t understand fiat currency are too checked out of reality for your reminder to penetrate their brains. So I’d suggest that the audience that understands what you’re talking about is bored by it because it’s obvious, and the ones who don’t get it aren’t about to.
