You’re really going to believe a person who’s entire job is to lie on behalf of his client over an extremely credible woman? You’re obviously either an extreme misogynist or a rapist yourself.

There’s a Community episode where Abed takes a Nicolas Cage class, and written on the chalkboard is:
A lways
B e
C aging
But I didn’t realize this is what it meant.
He was a rapist and an abuser - in no universe does he qualify as an “icon.”
“Reading is fun!” is about the least dickish way to respond to someone who didn’t even read the thing they’re commenting on. I think they’ll get over it.
I understand all that already, but in the US, if the government is your employer, you work for the government. On a US blog, it’s perfectly appropriate to label all members of parliament “government officials,” because that’s how US readers understand the term.
Oops, I accidentally deleted your reply. Please try again, very smart man-baby.
Who pays their salary? It’s not “the government”?
Darling child, you got rebutted like a dozen times. The fact that you don’t realize it is both sad and hilarious.
I was kinda curious if this would work. Seems like a pretty decent workaround.
If people don’t want to pause no one is *forcing them* to use the pause button. They can still play how they want.
Ah, the slippery slope fallacy, one of the most well known logic fallacies in existence. You almost tricked a third grader reading this thread with that one.
Huh? Opening that option takes about 2 seconds. That’s not enough time to run away from all threats.
As if they give a fuck. How much longer will the rich old assholes running these companies even be alive? After they cash out, it’s someone else’s problem.
They didn’t announce the strike on the site. Google it - it was all over the mainstream news.
Naw dawg, there’s nothing wrong with the article - you’re just intensely biased against him. I agree with everything he wrote, and his tone seems exactly the same as everything else on GMG to me.
Same - super super weird reactions in these comments. People bending over backwards to defend corporate greed is fucking bizarre. Apparently they dislike Sam Barsanti so much that they’ll argue against their own self-interest out of spite. Why not just... skip the article if you hate the writer?
No, he’s making fun of a corporation suggesting that raising prices for movies in Europe somehow makes price gouging fancy.
Just because they CAN pay him less because of it, that doesn’t mean they definitely did. Do you have evidence to back this up, or any evidence that he was dissatisfied with the role? Because it’s a pretty great role.
So they “spoiled” for you that a bridge exists in this game? Wow, you’re right, that’s totally surprising and unguessable information. I can absolutely see where you’re coming from....
“Subtle?” I do not think it means what you think it means.
